SAO JOAQUIM NATIONAL PARK

The park is while in the Atlantic Forest biome. It addresses a place of 48,three hundred hectares (119,000 acres). It was established by decree on six July 1961, and is also administered through the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation. It covers aspects of the municipalities of Urubici, Orleans, Grão Pará and Bom Jardim da Serra
